Digital multifrequence-ultrasound with different orthopaedic probes. The ultrasonic diagnosis is necessary for the display of so called soft tissue such as tendons, ligaments, muscles, articular capsules, menisci and eyes.

Furthermore, the sonography of joints often helps finding preciser results than seen only on X-rays. Ultrasound is also necessary in order to perform selective biopsy or direct injections in tendons for example.
